How do you feel about multiple maids of honor? i'm not getting married anytime soon, but i know i'm going to have a hard time choosing between my best friend and my sister, and i want them both to stand up next to me when i do actually get married. thoughts?

That can be pretty tricky.  You don’t want to offend either person, especially when they are so close to your heart. I’d say make your sister your maid of honor and your best friend your matron of honor.

i love, adore, and am obsessed with this tumblr! i recently became engaged (on christmas!) and we are already in the throes of planning. i have a few questions: my maid of honour will actually be my best friend, who is a guy. would he then be called my man of honour? and, since i have my bridesmaids carrying bouquets, would he just wear a boutineer? thank you so much!

First off, Congratulations! That is so exciting.  I definitely think he shouldn’t walk with a bouquet and I love the man of honor idea.  You can incorporate the color scheme into his tie, bow tie, or boutineer.
