I have previously posted about how much I love Doc Milo’s invitations and party goods. Every item I always look at is so chic and trendy. Take a look at these Doc Milo Cake Pop sets sold on Favor Warehouse. Each set includes striped sticks/stems with feather toppers, and a patterned stand for each individual cake pop! So chic and so inexpensive. These are great for bridal showers, engagement parties, or if you are just entertaining at home.
Many brides mistaken linens for solid, bland, or basic linens that are dyed. There is much more to it than that. Linens have sequins, embroidery, they can have gold sewn into them, and so much more. They can be used as seat covers, chair cushions, or even used as dividers for a room or drapery. There is so much time and intricate detailing that goes into linens that can be made of cotton, chiffon, lace, etc. Take a look at the different shades of purple and how they contrast in this picture. Also pay attention to how dramatic the linens are, but how simple the flowers & decor are.

These cakes are beautiful, aren’t they?
They are all fake cakes designed by Eleganza Cakes Faux Wedding Cake Rentals. Many brides are having a fake cake present at the reception, but behind the scenes, there is a pre made cake or selection of special desserts that are ready to be served.
The prices on cakes, if you don’t have the money can be outrageous. These are their prices:
- The basic rental of a stock 2 tier cake is $50. For each tier that is added, the price increases by $50. Price includes ribbon, flowers and the cake topper. For example, any stock 5 tier cake would cost $200 to rent.
- If you do not see what you want and choose a custom designed cake there is a minimum $100 added.
Check out their site for more price options.
Although they are based in California, there are many companies in the states providing this service in New York, Chicago, Florida, etc.
Would you rent a fake cake?
Whether you decide to buy a real cake or a styrofoam cake (yes, I said styrofoam), presentation is key. I have been to so many weddings where the cake is served and it does not look very appetizing. Make sure to discuss with your venue or caterer what you are expecting and what they should be executing.

Wine for a Wedding is a company that sells a beautiful wedding gift that you and your groom can cherish together. The wine box has 3 panels. Each panel shows the couple when they can open the bottle of wine. The person giving the gift can also leave a message inside for the couple to enjoy together. This box is called the Classic Trio and retails for $55. There are other styles available as well. Check them out!
Such a great gift for a couple tying the knot. The design is so sleek that it can match any room in your house.
As I’ve said before, white is definitely coming back. All white decor, all white flowers, and all white cakes. This centerpiece is a beautiful example of how chic, yet simple white can look. The orchids are just beautiful and were designed by Winston Flowers.

Having a nautical themed wedding? It can be hard to decide colors for this kind of wedding. Many brides decide to take a Ralph Lauren approach. This cake is great for a nautical themed wedding indoors or outdoors. The look of the flowers is so fresh and goes great with the stripes on the ribbon.

What an amazing bouquet! Definitely not your ordinary bouquet. RBK Creations specialize in creating brooch bouquets like this one. The bouquet featured above retails for $365. The attention to detail and the beaded handle are amazing. Take a look at the rest of RBK Creations. There are some stunning pieces.
Ice cream burgers & churro fries! Creative, but small appetizers are my favorite. You don’t want there to be an abundance of appetizers that by the time the main course is served, your guests are stuffed. So much food will go to waste. Veggie options can be great because they aren’t as filling as meats. Get your moneys worth!

Some great hair styles for you brides that don’t want your hair down. Some of these options are soft, elegant and beautiful, and are the best options for strapless dresses. These types of styles look great if your makeup is dramatic.

A 1940’s inspired style, drop waist, halter, belted cecile wedding dress by FANCY NY. This stunning dress retails for $880.00 and is placed by special custom order. The Parisian feel to this dress reminds me of Coco Chanel.
