Fondant or Buttercream? What is the difference?  So many brides have asked my opinion on the great debate.  Fondant is very easy to mold into different shapes, but the taste isn’t particularly great.  Buttercream is deliciously sinful, but can be messy.  When going to your baker, most of them will tell you that if you want a whimsical or extravagant cake, fondant may be the way to go....
