Venue Spotlight: Falkirk Estate & Country Club

The History of the Groom's Cake
Traditionally the groom’s cake was a dark fruitcake or chocolate sliced cake. The custom was that a single woman was to take their slice of cake home with them and sleep with it under her pillow to dream of the man she would one day marry.
